Click here to get full access to UV+ protection (site is under construction) Wood and teak wood UV + protection  TCM-ASIA TEAK DECK UV + is a transparent, one component coating including a strong ultra violet ray absorber. TCM Asia- Teak deck UV + protects materials and surfaces, to which it is applied, against soaking with water — at the same time this surface remains actively able to breathe — and therefore prevents the treated surface from absorbing water, from rotting, and also against expansion and distortion. It gives a deep protection to the surface against water and moisture, even if the water does not run off any more. The pearling-off effect can easily be regained by simply retreating the surface *(an annual application is advisable). Properties: • No oils, no conventional paint – this means that the treated surface remains optically unchanged. • Nano particles enclose the fibers of materials and surfaces and protect the wood, allowing: 1) Actively able to breathe; 2) Has a deep protection against water/moisture absorption; 3) Water and Oils “pearl-off” the materials and surfaces, and cannot seep into the wood; • Gives protection against mosses; • Is resistant against the effects of seawater/saltwater and against sea/salt air, and acid rain; • Provides stability against the effects of Ultra Violet light and rays; • Is free of silicones, wax and oils; • Retains effectiveness without abrasion for more than 3 years; • High productivity / highly effective, owing to the extremely thin coating: with only one liter, for a surface of up to 20 m2˛ may be treated. Areas of marine application: • Retards “graying” and rotting for valuable teak decks, and all other wood components; • The impregnation of spray hoods, sails, ropes, etc; Other areas of application: • The impregnation of all untreated, and also oiled and waxed wood, surfaces is possible; • Protection of valuable garden furniture, sheds, window frames, and even terraces; • The impregnation of synthetic and natural fiber materials such as sun blinds, sunshades and umbrellas, the hoods of convertible automobiles, etc.
