Description/Characteristics
TCM NANO STONE is a product of the Nanotechnology. It is an intelligent anti-stick-coating for porous, absorbent silicate surfaces, such as sandstone, concrete, concrete blocks, terracotta, earthenware, various more absorbent types of fine stoneware, security tiles, etc., for indoor and outdoor use. It achieves a permanent chemical compound with the substrate surface and reduces at the same time the surface tension (repellent effect). The so protected surfaces are to a very high extent water-, oil and dirt repellent. Furthermore, they show considerable resistance against acids, solvents and cleaning agents. A UV-stable, naturally breathing protective layer is achieved. The impregnated surfaces are hardening at normal room temperature. The cleaning of the protected surfaces is considerably simplified due to the anti-stick effect. Organic substances, such as algae, moss, etc. cannot strong adhere anymore (for example: on facades). The Nano Stone coated surfaces are high-pressure cleaner resistant but only up to 60 bar. Because of this feature Nano Stone solutions are not recommended on walk ways or sand wash surfaces. The typically cleaning pressure of standard washers is mostle 100 bar and more, so any cleaning job will reduce the protection.	If water splashes on the figure...
Operational areas:
TCM Nano Stone can be applied to all open-porous silicate surfaces. For non-absorbent surfaces, for example polished stone, extremely compressed surfaces (and many fine stoneware and security tiles) etc., we recommend TCM Nano Glass. Application:
Always pre-test surface to be treated in an inconspicuous area before proceeding. TCM NANO STONE has good adhesion only on detergent-free, residue-free surfaces. Therefore, a pre-cleaning with a detergent-free cleaner is indispensable, preferably with products from the TCM assortment. Should it be necessary to use other, detergent-containing cleaners, the last rinse must be done with a detergent-free cleaner. Spray TCM NANO STONE with the finest possible sprayer from a distance of 30-50 centimeters on the pre-cleaned, residue-free surface, which may still be moist (not wet). Avoid drops and puddles. We recommend a triple application, working on a wet-in-wet basis, i.e. the first application has to be repeated after 2-5 minutes. Therefore, it is necessary to work in sections. Consumption for triple application between 40 and 250 ml/m² (open-porous sandstone), if sprayed. It is also possible to apply the impregnation by means of submerging, painting or rolling, or with a coating mop. In this case an increased consumption has to be taken into account. One liter is sufficient to protect approx. 4-25 m². Complete protection is achieved normally after 24 hours, at the latest after 72 hours (at a surrounding temperature of 20°C).	The result is an untouched dry surface
Subsequent maintenance / cleaning care:
The big advantage of TCM NANO STONE is that dirt and spots remain on the surface and can very easily be removed with only a minimal use of chemicals. We recommend the use of detergent-free cleaners in order to preserve the impregnation.
Durability/Disposal/ Precautions:
A durability of up to five years is expected in the praxis. Only machinery and the wrong cleaners can impair the durability. This becomes apparent in a decreased pearl-off effect after cleaning. These parts (for example traffic lanes) can anew be impregnated without any problems and without visual impairment. TCM NANO STONE is free from aromatic/aliphatic solvents, water-based and is not a dangerous product.
